A woman who spent years avoiding nights out because she felt frumpy next to her friends has lost nearly 6st to be named 'Miss Slinky 2015'.At her heaviest Zoe Jones, 27, from Pontypridd, Wales, dreaded getting dressed up and would make excuses to stay home instead of socialising. Now she's dropped four dress sizes, going from a size 18 to a ten, and has been awarded the national title by weight-loss organisation Slimming World.
Natalie Jones who runs weekly Slimming World groups in Burbage has been awarded the Pearl status by the national organisation.The accolade is given to Slimming World Consultants who consistently have 100 or more members in their group over several months.It represents the highest level of service in slimming and means Burbage is home to one of the best Slimming World Consultants in the UK.
“In group, we teach members about unlimited free food, and making healthier swaps and changes to their food choices. As team developer for Slimming World South Tyneside, I asked all local consultants to collect food donations from members, to give to Cancer Connections. “I know they will use the goodies for raffles and hampers to raise much-needed funds to support the amazing work they do within the community.”
